The slot game is perhaps aimed at players with smaller betting values, as spins can be from $0.01 to a maximum of just $9. The value of these bets, though, will depend on the number of paylines that have been activated and on the amount wagered as both of these options are customisable.
To further enhance the gameplay experience, Playtech have kept their trusted ‘Autoplay’ feature available, which allows players to set a predetermined number of spins to take place automatically, thus being provided with the opportunity to sit back and hope luck is on their side!
The game’s icons all have some resemblance to the theme that the developers have gone for with this Zhao Cai Jin Bao Jackpot slot game. The low-value icons are the royal playing card icons – 9, 10, J, Q, K and A – as all these feature graphics that can be associated with the Chinese New Year.
The most rewarding symbols on the paytable include a pair of Koi Carp, a Phoenix, a Chinese Dragon and a Chinese Guardian Lion.
The Wild is represented by a Chinese man in traditional clothing whilst the Scatter icon is a golden hat.

Our Zhao Cai Jin Bao Jackpot review found that the game was rather simple in regards to what it offered players, as there were no real bonus features on offer.
The Scatter – unlike in traditional slot games – does provide players with a payout when it does appear on consecutive reels, whilst the Wild can also substitute other icons on the grid when it appears on either reels 2, 3 or 4 (or all of them at once).
