Magic is all about illusions as a number of tricks that are performed in front of our very eyes. Of course, some magicians do stunts and tricks that simply can not be explained, however many of these magical moments can all be revealed to have been done by illusions that have been created.
Betsoft have certainly taken the magic theme as inspiration for their True Illusions slot game, which will provide players with some brilliant and exciting moments.
Gameplay
The game has five reels and 30 different paylines available for bettors to place a bet on, with spins available for as little as $0.30. Players who prefer to play with a little more can do so with bets of up to $150 also available. Those that prefer to place wagers at the highest level can do so by the click of the ‘Max Bet Spin’ button that is available at the bottom of the game grid.
The number of paylines available does not necessarily mean that all 30 have to be active, as players can tailor their True Illusions slot game experience. Bettors can play with as little as one if they prefer, whilst they can also customise the size of their bet with ease, as well.
During our True Illusions game review, we managed to find a number of symbols on the paytable matched the theme of magic. The lowest-value icons include the magician’s hand (which has a white object with it – maybe a rabbit?), the magician’s hat, a crystal ball, a dove, his hand once again but with a golden coin be held, a guillotine, a chest and his assistant. The assistant is worth the most as she pays a handsome 2,500x the bet when five appear on the reels.
The slot game’s Wild is represented by the word ‘Wild’, whilst the Scatter is the Magician himself. Both of these symbols represent bonus features – that can be tested out in the True Illusions Free Play version – and will be explained further below.
Feature Bonuses
As mentioned, there are two different icons available in this slot game that continue the magical enjoyment players can have whilst playing this 3D title.
Firstly, the ‘Wild’ has the ability to trigger the middle reel when it appears in stacks on that particular reel. When this happens, players will receive up to seven free spins.
If bettors are successful in landing three or more magicians on the reels, they will be awarded a number of free spins. During this feature, the reels will cascade in a downwards motion, thus making any winning combination formed disappear and be replaced at the top with new icons to potentially form new wins.
The last feature is a pick’em bonus round. This is activated when three or more playing card symbols appear on the reels. Players simply have to pick a card to win an instant reward.
