Paco and the popping peppers

18+ Only. Play Responsibly.

There is no doubt that Betsoft have drawn inspiration from Mexican culture for their Paco and the Popping Peppers slot game offering. With Mexican influences striking as hot as the spices that can be associated with their culinary offerings, this game will bring the heat to those that play it!

We were left feeling spicy and hot-under-the-collar when we completed our Paco and the Popping Peppers game review as some of the bonus features left a huge impression on us and we are confident players who take on the reels will love them as well!

Gameplay

Paco and the Popping Peppers slot game is played on five reels and provides players with 30 paylines in another one of their 3D slot game titles. Players can set their bets from as little as $0.10 per spin, whereas those that feel as though they will be able to win the biggest rewards available from the game can place wagers as large as $150 on each turn of the reels. Paco and the Popping Peppers Free Play version is also available for those that want to test the spiciness of the game before working out what heat level they are at.

Betsoft have provided players with a number of options to enhance the user’s gameplay experience and these work rather well. Players can look to spin the reels for up to 100 times uninterrupted via the ‘Autoplay’ button – which is a sombrero hat in the top left corner of the game screen. Players also have a ‘Max Bet Spin’ option, allowing for those high-rollers to get the action underway with just one click per spin.

As is customary, there are a number of winnable icons on the paytable that represent vital ingredients in traditional Mexican dishes. The animated pineapple is the most valuable on the paytable as it provides players with rewards of 200x their bet when five appear on the reels. These are then followed by tomatoes, what appears to be a coconut, chillies, red and green peppers, a garlic and then finally an onion.

Paco and the Popping Peppers also features a Wild icon, which is represented by the Donkey Piñata. This symbol has the ability to substitute other icons on the grid and will provide players with rewards of 500x their bet if five appear on the reels.

Players will also come across a Tiki Hut symbol – the game’s Scatter – and this icon has the ability to fetch one of the bonus rewards we spoke about earlier in this Paco and the Popping Peppers review.

Feature Bonuses

The first thing players might notice when giving the reels a spin in this slot game is that there is a multiplier bonus. This is triggered automatically when three of the Donkey Piñata icons appear on the reels. Players will see their winnings automatically increase by 10x the amount, thus providing players with up a bonus of up to 5,000 coins!

As mentioned, the Tiki Hut symbol also has the ability to provide players with some great bonus features. If it makes an appearance, players will activate the ‘Fiesta Bonus’ round. This game is all about making the right guesses in regards to whether the next card will be higher or lower than the previously revealed one. Players will double their rewards if they guess correctly, however if they get it wrong three times, they will leave the round without any wins.

The Donkey Piñatas also have the potential to land players the jackpot in this game, should players land five of the symbols on an active payline.

RTP (return to player)

With a return to player (RTP) rate of 94.29%, Betsoft’s Paco and the Popping Peppers slot game provides players with a reasonable chance of earning, whilst the bonuses certainly help to make those wins rather large at times.
